new life History

new life Christian Church is a new work in Auburn, CA planted by STADIA. We opened
for meetings on November 13, 2005. However, the core group began meeting for
leadership training and preparations six months earlier.

The core group was originally made up of Pastor Bill Jenkins, his wife Carol, and some
wonderful Auburn residents who wanted to make a difference in their city. This initial
group was soon joined by other difference makers and new life's journey began.

We are fully aware that we stand on the shoulders of the Christians in Auburn who worked
steadfastly and diligently in the community before our arrival, especially those members of
Canyon View Community Church who sacrificed so much to birth new life. We also know
the “best is yet to come” and we look forward to many years of serving the people of Auburn.
